Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist with over 9 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families moving through life’s hurdles and building healthier, more connected relationships. Sarah obtained a graduate certification in Family Therapy in 2019 and is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her specific areas of interest are in Perinatal Mental Health and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Sarah works with individuals and families navigating these specific challenges to better understand their experiences through a multigenerational and contextual lens, develop effective tools for daily life, and foster healthier relationships.
Beyond direct clinical work, Sarah is passionate about strengthening families and communities through prevention, education, and collaboration. Over the years, Sarah has facilitated talks and workshops on topics such as stress management and emotional regulation, mental health first aid, navigating the perinatal period, and wellbeing in the workplace. These workshops aim to bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and everyday life, equipping communities with mental health literacy to better support one another, and individuals and families with practical tools to thrive. As a member of MyMFT, Sarah hopes to contribute in initiatives that support professional collaboration, continuing education, and the promotion of mental wellbeing at the societal level.
When not working, Sarah enjoys getting lost in stories and ideas through books and spending time with family. Through ongoing clinical work, board service, and a healthy dose of coffee, Sarah is committed to promoting understanding and reducing stigma around mental health alongside strengthening the role of family therapy in promoting wellbeing across the lifespan.
